I'm the parent of two beautiful children and wife of a geeky, nerdy husband (just like me!). My interests in the art world cover topics like steampunk style, anime, mecha, watercolour, drawing and influencing my son's artistic talents and interest. Well, I've finally moved to Louisiana. Going to pick up my feet and get going on this Fibromyalgia (FMS) project of mine.

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia at the end of last year, about October. It's a muscle disease that suddenly stopped the fast-paced world that I lived in. No more being Supermom; no more working so many hours to put food on my table and in my son's mouth. No more working in restaurants (the beloved work of my life). No more standing on my feet running around all day... I needed help, far more than the state of West Virginia, God bless them, was willing to give. I came home to Wisconsin...to family. To rest.
I am unable to work, so I will pick up painting and drawing again. Who knows, maybe it will open a window somewhe

Hi Momaspider, I am interwsted in the Fibromyalgia Awareness Expo. I was diagnosed 3 years ago, but have been suffering for years without knowing, I am actually on mysons account, because I was looking for a butterfly to make a tattoo and saw the toxic butterfly and it led me to you. There is actually several people looking to find a support group in the area. I called 232-HELP and there is a lady there who has is who has been looking aslo. So you might want to call them. They might give you exposer! Please get in touch with me. ASAP!!!!

Hello, I just wanted to comment/say hi. I have family that suffers from fibro, and its a miserable thing. I just wanted to say thanks for helping the fibro organization
